Green Country Behavioral Health Services is pleased to welcome the Muskogee Health Center to our main facility at 619 North Main in Muskogee. The two agencies are collaborating to offer comprehensive behavioral health care and family medical services in one location.
The Muskogee Health Center (MHC) will begin providing services on October 1, 2012, either by appointment, by calling 918 682-0222, or on a walk-in basis. The center’s initial schedule will be as follows:
Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Medical services are provided by M. Susan Kraft, M.D. and Rocky Arrasmith, P.A. MHC accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance, or Private Pay. The cost of services for uninsured individuals is based upon a sliding fee scale according to household size and income.
This collaboration of medical healthcare and behavioral health services is Muskogee’s first partnership in the spirit of Oklahoma’s Health Improvement Plan, which has an overall mission to improve our state’s national health ranking. Oklahoma leads the nation for deaths due to heart disease and, based upon our rise in obesity rates over the last 15 years, we are projected to have the highest obesity rate in the country by 2018. Oklahoma’s Health Improvement Plan calls for collaborations across healthcare systems in order to provide easily accessible, affordable healthcare for Oklahomans. Green Country Behavioral Health and the Muskogee Health Center are committed to work together toward this goal.
