On Friday, November 12th, staff gathered together at the MLK Center to celebrate and recognize some outstanding individuals and Teams of ‘caring people, caring for others’ at the 42nd Annual Staff Recognition Ceremony. Green Country CEO, Joy Sloan, served as MC for the “Teams”-themed event as various tenure and achievement awards were distributed to the winners. Most of these awards were voted on by fellow staff members via a nomination survey weeks earlier. Special recognition was given to therapist David McGee, who retired last August after serving our agency for 30 years!  We also enjoyed a delicious cake and were treated to several karaoke numbers from staff who weren’t too shy about singing in front of a crowd!  Thank you to Cheryl Nelson and her team for putting this event together and congratulations to all the award recipients!
