The Green Country Behavioral Health Services Outreach Team is hitting the streets armed with a pharmacist and close to a hundred doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. They are partnering with Saint Francis Muskogee hospital in efforts to vaccinate those who may not have access to transportation or means to get to a vaccination site. The Outreach team is using their existing knowledge and connections to those individuals living on the streets who have not been vaccinated and have already seen good results.

The team is also scheduling days to distribute the vaccine at both the Muskogee and Checotah agency locations as well as the Muskogee Public Library within the next few days. Anyone interested in receiving the vaccine may contact Outreach Team member Matthew Porter at 918-517-6614.
